Tasks

The Statistical Office in Kielce operates on the basis of:

  • the Act of 29 June 1995 on Official Statistics (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1799),
  • the Act of 21 November 2008 on Civil Service (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 409),
  • the statute introduced by Order No. 6 of the President of Statistics Poland of 21 March 2012 (Official Journal of Statistics Poland, item 16, as amended),
  • the Organisational Regulations of the Statistical Office in Kielce introduced by an internal order of the Office Director.

Information provision - Information Centre

The Information Centre and the library are located at the Office headquarters in Kielce (room 1) 

Tasks:

• providing access by telephone, correspondence and on-site to:
  - statistical data from publications of Statistics Poland and Statistical Offices
  - announcements of Statistics Poland and Statistical Offices

• providing information on:
  - new publications issued by Statistics Poland and Statistical Offices,
  - publications available in the Office library,
  - publications available for purchase,

• accepting orders for:
  - unpublished statistical data from the Statistical Office database,
  - preparation of studies based on information published by Statistics Poland and statistical offices. Detailed information: Statistical data orders

REGON register services

Matters related to the national official register of entities of the national economy REGON are handled at the Office headquarters in Kielce (room 2) and at the Sandomierz Branch.

Information about entities registered in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and included in the REGON register may be provided to all interested parties upon written request. Services for persons with disabilities

The Office building is adapted to provide services for persons with disabilities using wheelchairs.

Since April 2012, it has also been possible to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter. More >>>

INFORMATION
The Statistical Office in Kielce responds only to job applications submitted in response to official vacancy announcements published by the Office. All other applications received will be destroyed. 

Complaints and requests

Please be informed that the acceptance and processing of complaints and requests submitted to the Statistical Office in Kielce are carried out pursuant to the provisions of the Act of 14 June 1960 - Code of Administrative Procedure (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023, item 775) and the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 8 January 2002 on the organisation of receiving and processing complaints and requests (Journal of Laws of 2002 No. 5, item 46).

Complaints and requests may be submitted in writing:

In matters concerning complaints and requests, the Office Director receives visitors every Monday from 14:00 to 16:00.

Pursuant to § 8(1) of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 8 January 2002 on the organisation of receiving and processing complaints and requests: “Complaints and requests that do not contain the name and surname (or name) and address of the submitting person shall be left unprocessed.”

Internal reports

Please be informed that internal reports submitted to the Statistical Office in Kielce are processed pursuant to the provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (Official Journal of the European Union L 305 of 26 November 2019) and the Act of 14 June 2024 on the protection of whistleblowers (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 928).

A whistleblower may submit an internal report through the following reporting channels:

  1. a dedicated email mailbox for handling internal reports: sygnal_USKielce@stat.gov.pl,
  2. in person, verbally to a member of the team,
  3. by telephone at: 534 027 926,
  4. by written correspondence (the internal report should first be placed in an internal envelope marked “Internal report” and then placed in an external envelope intended for delivery to the address provided on the Office website).
