Regional Cooperation
Data has its greatest value when it helps us understand the region, make better decisions and build trust between institutions, local governments, businesses and residents. That is why the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz develops regional cooperation as a space for dialogue, education and the practical use of official statistics.
Regional cooperation is not only about sharing information. It is about finding a clearer language for data, more effective communication channels and forms of activity that respond to the real needs of local partners. At the heart of this approach is the belief that official statistics are not merely a reporting obligation, but also a tool for discussing the economy, the labour market, the potential of municipalities and counties, and the development directions of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship.
Our partners include local government units, business support organisations, economic communities, local institutions and entrepreneurs. Together, we create communication channels that help explain obligations more clearly, answer questions, identify barriers and show the practical value of reliable data. As a result, statistical information becomes closer to its users — more understandable, accessible and useful.
As part of regional activities, we develop educational initiatives, webinars, information materials, short guides for entrepreneurs, local data profiles and meetings with partners. An important element of this cooperation is a model in which the Office ensures substantive quality and information security, while partners strengthen the local context, trust and effectiveness of reaching audiences.
We want data to go beyond tables. We want it to become the starting point for a conversation about residents’ needs, business conditions, demographic changes, the labour market, education, investment and the development potential of the region. Complete and well-understood data lead to better decisions — for local governments, entrepreneurs, institutions and the entire regional community.
