Below, we provide information about the principles and rights you have in connection with the processing of your personal data. [1]
- Controller
The controller of your personal data is the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz, with its registered office in Bydgoszcz (85-066) at ul. Ks. Stanisława Konarskiego 1-3, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Controller’.

- Purposes and legal basis for processing your personal data
The purpose of processing your personal data: conducting the recruitment process. [2]

Any other data you provide, to the extent not specified by law, will be processed based on consent, which may be withdrawn at any time. [4]
- Obligation to provide personal data
Providing your personal data is necessary to participate in the recruitment process. [5]
Providing other data, to the extent not specified by law, is voluntary, and its submission will be treated as consent to the processing of personal data. This consent may be withdrawn

Providing special categories of data referred to in Article 9(1) of the GDPR is voluntary and is based on your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time.
- Information about the recipients of your personal data
Your data may be disclosed to entities authorised to receive them under the law.
A separate category of recipients to whom your personal data may be disclosed are entities authorised to handle deliveries and entities with which the Controller has concluded an agreement entrusting the processing of personal data in the scope of technical support of systems, including the email system and the HR and payroll system.
Personal data, including forenames and surnames, and place of residence of persons employed as a result of recruitment for positions in the civil service corps, will be made public. [7]
- Period of storage of personal data
Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the recruitment process and then for the period of:
1. 3 months from the date of entering into an employment relationship with a person selected through recruitment - applies to recruitment to the civil service corps,
2. 1 month from the date of entering into an employment relationship with a person selected through recruitment – applies to other recruitments.
- Profiling and automated decision-making
The data you provide will not be profiled and will not be the basis for automated decision-making.
- Rights of the data subject
You have the right to:
- access to personal data, including the right to obtain a copy thereof;
- withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data;
- request rectification (correction) of personal data;
- request the erasure of personal data in the situations specified in Article 17 of the GDPR;
- request the restriction of the processing of personal data in the situations specified in Article 18 of the GDPR;
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if, in your opinion, the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
