Information regarding the processing of personal data

In connection with the entry into force on 25 May 2018 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: GDPR) (OJ EU L 119 of 4 May 2016, p. 1, as amended), in accordance with Article 13(1) and (2), we hereby inform you that:

  1. The controller of your personal data is the Director of the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz with its registered office in Bydgoszcz, ul. Ks. Stanisława Konarskiego 1-3, 85-066 Bydgoszcz.
  2. Your personal data will be processed on the basis of your consent as referred to in Article 6(1)(a) and in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
  3. Your personal data will be used to implement tasks resulting from the Act of 29 June 1995 on Official Statistics (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1799) .
  4. Consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of fulfilling a submitted order for statistical data, answering a submitted enquiry and providing other information services is voluntary, but failure to give consent means that the service cannot be provided and will be cancelled.
  5. Your personal data will be stored for as long as there is a legal basis for their processing from the date of submission of an enquiry, order, application, other information services or until you withdraw or limit your consent to data processing.
  6. You have the right to access your data and the right to rectify, erase, limit processing, the right to transfer data, the right to object, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) /national supervisory authority/ if you believe that the processing of your data violates the provisions of the currently applicable legal acts on personal data protection.
